HOTEL DESCRIPTION AND LOCATION

The Augustine is located in the heart of the city centre in the Lesser Town district, close to Prague Castle, to the Wallenstein Garden and 5 minutes walk to the famous Charles Bridge. The public transport is within walking distance. The interier was designed by the London company RDD, together with Olga Polizzi, The Rocco Forte Collection’s Director of Design. The hotel reflects The Augustine’s rich monastic history and its strong link to the cultural heritage of Prague. The decor embodies luxurious, contemporary design and all bedrooms feature a range of furnishings inspired by 1930’s Czech cubism.

HOTEL ROOMS AND EQUIPMENT

The hotel has 101 elegant guestrooms including 16 suites. All rooms have two-line telephones, air-conditioning, a writing desk, high speed Internet access, multi-chanel flat-screen TV, pay TV, internet via TV, portable hairdryer, private bar and personal safe. Marble bathrooms are equipped with luxury amenities including bathrobes, slippers, audio sound system and make-up mirror. Complimentary newspaper and membership of spa and gym during your stay. The Augustine is created from a complex of seven buildings including the 13th century Augustinian St. Thomas Monastery after which the hotel is named. In addition to above mentioned all the suites reflect I-pod docking station, CD / DVD player and complimentary use of a Nokia mobile phone for all local calls. All guest rooms offer stunning views of Prague Castle, Malá Strana, St. Thomas church or the tranquil monastery courtyards.

Classic Room at Augustine Hotel measures on average 33 sq m and incorporates a Queen, King or Twin beds. The room combines contemporary furniture and design with traditional features reflecting the tranquillity of the neighbourhood.

Executive Rooms are - on average - 43 sq m. The Executive rooms incorporate a double bed and have been designed in modern yet classical style with carefully chosen artwork and fabrics, in delicate, restful hues.

Superior Deluxe Castle View Rooms are - on average – 38 sq m. Spacious and comfortable, combine contemporary furniture with a traditional touch, the rooms have a king-size bed and offer a stunning view to the Prague Castle.

Studio Rooms are particularly large bedrooms with a seating area and a total size on average of 54 sq m. The rooms incorporate a double bed and have been designed by Olga Polizzi, in co-operation with the RDD Design Company.

Junior Suite at Augustine Hotel measures on average 42 sq m and incorporates a seating area with a working desk, as well as a bedroom which features queen or king bed.

Classic Suite at Augustine Hotel measures are on average 54 sq m and incorporates a queen bed or twin beds. The suite offers the added luxury of a separate bedroom and lounge.

Deluxe Suite Castle View is located on the second floor of the hotel. This suite is composed of a separate bedroom a living room, featuring on average 77 sq m. The spacious bathroom of the Deluxe Suite offers heated floors and a separate step-in shower. In addition to Rocco Forte Collection’s exclusive range of toiletries and fluffy bathrobes, features a unique built-in television.

The Thomas Suite has 4 poster bed and offers 117 sq m of simple luxury. This suite is composed of a separate bedroom, dining room, living room and dressing room. The spacious bathroom offers full comfort in marble design, exclusive range of toiletries and a unique built-in television.

The Tower Suite offers on its three floors exceptional and magnificent 360 scope view of the Golden City. The living room including a separate lounge area is located on the first floor followed by the bathroom with separate step-in shower on the second floor and dominated by the bedroom with incorporated double bed on the last floor. The spacious bathroom of The Tower Suite offers same equipment and amenities as well as the Thomas Suite.

The Charles Suite at Augustine Hotel measures 149 sq m, incorporates separate kitchenette, dining room with living flame fireplace and grand piano, luxurious living room including separate lounge, tastefully designed study, dressing room followed by the master bedroom featuring 4 poster bed and spacious bathroom.
